Today 37 years ago and what an amazing gig, I didn't have a ticket for this but as I worked in McGons I got in for free 🤣, credit Colin Dean for the pic, here's a cool story, the night before on the rock show I did a suicidal special, the band happened to be sitting on a ferry in their tour bus and came across the show accidentally, when we met after the gig the were thrilled that I'd played them, they couldn't believe I dedicated a big portion of the show to them, Mike Muir said he'd never heard any radio station even in the states play any of their songs never mind a whole segment, anyway got to hang with the band and had all my ST vinyl signed 🤣.....well happy, they got the McGons poster which appeared on the wall of their next video which went stellar for them, we caught them at a perfect time, I'm sure plenty of old farts like me🤣 will have their own cool memories from that gig 🤘👍.
