A pattern day is when people come together to perform pilgrimage at a holy well or saints grave. The pattern for the 7th c. pilgrimage site of St Mullins where St Moling founded a monastery on the banks of river Barrow is the last Sunday before July 25.

the Faddan More Psalter was discovered during peat cutting in a Tipperary bog in 2006. Composed of 60 sheets of vellum divided into five gatherings, or quires, the text is based on the Gallican Psalter and written with iron gall ink. Red and yellow pigments are used for decoration.
