Artist Feature: Relativ (NL) had a wild run in the Top Deep House Singles with the Terrace Mix of their 'Tuesday Night' tune which held a strong position on Beatport over the last two weeks. It climbed to the #76 spot and held a position in the top #25 deep house hype singles for the 14 day run as well. Definitely don't sleep on these two as they are a strong force in the minimal scene, destined for big moves in the near future. Happy to have them as part of our growing Slightly Sizzled family! Let's give it up for Relativ!!

Sizzled Artist Feature: Lotrax & Fear & Lowe : All three tracks from Lotrax' new 'La Pandemia' EP including the Fear & Lowe Remix charted on Beatport for an entire month and the track, 'Costa Del Bop' climbed as high as the Top 25 minimal single! Both Lotrax and Fear & Lowe are quickly rising and are being recognized for their contribution to the minimal house scene so definitely do not sleep on these two fine producers and talented artists of their craft. Let's give it up for Lotrax and Fear & Lowe!!

I'm really sick of everyone trying to sound like Chris Stussy & DJOKO...Minimal House has honestly been such a bore the last year with seemingly 10,000 artists all trying to replicate that Chris Stussy & DJOKO sound and I'm SOOO over it...I go through thousands of label demo submissions every single week and have been rejecting 99.99% of them mostly because it's just simply lame for everyone trying to sound like someone else - at Sizzled, it's my aim to try and set the trend before it is even a thing and this is really important to me...highlighting artists who are doing stuff different with their own flavor and grinding to find their signature sound...that's what it's all about.

So anyways, I'm going through our demos and stumbled across this dude, Shane Mahon's tunes and immediately I fell in love, I could tell he was following his own path musically. Both of the tunes are really unique micro tracks...something that has been a lost art in recent times. Squelchy, minimal rollers with some sophisticated big alien-abduction energy, playful bass riffs and sprinkled in with some soul..just super dope and funky weirdness, right up my alley. Both offer something special and I've been playing them in my sets as secret weapons for some time and they always deliver.

But yeah just had to get that off my chest haha, no disrespect to stussy and djoko though, they are legends 100% just hoping to see the minimal scene get creative musically again..I'm curious how our fan feel about this?

Sizzled Artist Feature: Kricked, "I've been reflecting on all that occured in 2020 and damn...what a rollercoaster of a year. Hopefully the most challenging year that we will ever face... from neverending shutdowns, to learning how to throw 24 hour streaming twitch festivals, this year will certainly be one we will never forget. We launched our minimal house / micro label 'Slightly Sizzled White' this year and 16 of the tracks we released climbed their way into the top 100 minimal singles on Beatport. A few of these tracks hit the #1 minimal single, something I never thought we'd be able to pull off...but hey, I guess when you have such talented and hardworking people who are focused, magic can happen. This magic helped to push our imprint into the #22 top minimal label on Beatport. But Slightly Sizzled is beyond numbers and figures...the strong family we've built up of talented producers that support one another however we can, the Facebook group fanbase community that contributes to conversation day in and day out, the twitch party fam that tuned in and had fun with us for 15-24 hours at a time every Sunday for months and months...this is what this is all about. Creating music, making memories, having fun. We couldn't have done any of this without you guys. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your support and for believing in me and the team. 2021 will be Slightly Sizzled's best year yet - you can count on that 💜🎶. I hope you all have a safe and pleasant end of your year. If you are struggling, don't worry, this too will pass and we will all be stronger and more prepared because of it. Hang in there, you aren't alone 💜 To 2021! ☺️"

Slightly Sizzled White's final charting track of the year was by Kricked titled 'Micro Swords' and climbed to the #40 top minimal single on Beatport.
