Learning Khmer is not just about words — it’s about listening, respecting, and opening your heart.
In Kampot, I took my first steps into the language, the food, and the everyday life of the Khmer people, guided by locals who welcomed me with patience and kindness.

Through their hands, their kitchens, and their stories, I began to understand that culture is something you don’t consume — you receive it, you honor it, and you protect it.
This is just the beginning of a long journey of learning, connection, and gratitude.

Thank you, Kampot, for teaching me slowly, honestly, and from the heart. 🇰🇭🙏🏽

I wanted to record a video for all my Khmer brothers and sisters on the occasion of January 7th, but it took me so long to record it that night fell before I finished.

I’m still practicing reading and pronunciation in Khmer, so please excuse me if my pronunciation isn’t perfect yet. I promise I’ll keep improving.

Battambang is not just a place you visit — it is a place you feel.
Its streets, its people, its silence, and its smiles tell stories that don’t need words.

These images capture our journey through Battambang: moments of simplicity, resilience, and everyday life that reflect the true soul of Cambodia.
Walking through this land taught me that beauty doesn’t always shout — sometimes it whispers, and only those who slow down are able to hear it.

Thank you, Battambang, for the lessons, the warmth, and the quiet strength you share with the world. 🇰🇭🙏🏽

In Battambang, I tried something that goes far beyond curiosity or cultural shock.
I tasted a part of history, resilience, and the dignity of the Khmer people.

This barbecue is not “exotic” food — it is memory.
In the hardest moments of Cambodia’s history, when there was almost nothing, this was survival.
Today, I try it with respect, gratitude, and the responsibility of telling the story the way it deserves to be told.

Thank you, Cambodia, for opening your doors to me, for teaching me your culture, and for reminding me that the strength of a people lives in their ability to endure, adapt, and move forward with pride. 🇰🇭🙏🏽

Happy New Year to all my brothers and sisters in Cambodia 🙏🏽

This is my first video speaking Khmer, so please forgive me if my pronunciation isn’t perfect.

Long live a free and sovereign Cambodia 💪🏽🇰🇭

I can’t wait to share with you the documentary “Cambodia: The Adventure of Finding Myself.”

Cambodia: The Adventure of Finding Myself tells the story of Juancho’s improvised journey, who, together with his friend Pipe, decides to step away from the routine of the Western world to heal the wounds of a broken heart. What begins as an escape slowly transforms into a profound experience of reconnection, learning, and personal rebirth.

In Cambodian lands, between simplicity and what truly matters, Juancho leaves behind an old version of himself and is reborn under a new name: Samnang.

This was our first night in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. We had the chance to try a small part of its most unique cuisine.

Although it’s not something we would eat every day, we tried it with great respect for the Khmer community, because at one point in Cambodia’s history, this was one of the few sources of protein available.
