History of Tallaght 🏘️🌳

For centuries, Tallaght stood at the crossroads between Dublin and the mountains. A place shaped by monks, markets, roads, industry and the people who called it home. From the old village streets to the growth of new communities, there’s a story around almost every corner.

And while Tallaght is now known for its busy town centre, football and strong community spirit, beneath it all is a place with centuries of history, local characters, hidden gems and stories that deserve to be remembered.

A Perfect Day with Josh Reynolds 💎✨

Joshua Reynolds, aka Josh The Jeweller, is a Dublin-based jeweller making serious waves in the industry. Best known for his stunning bespoke pieces, Josh has caught the eye of customers and industry experts alike. His designs often feature iconic Irish symbols — from the Poolbeg Chimneys to the harp — blending classic influences with a seriously contemporary edge. Tbh, they’re just very cool. 💍

For his Perfect Day in Dublin, we joined Josh as he showed us some of his favourite spots around the city, including Volumes, his favourite place to grab a lemonade and hang out in Dublin. 🍋

Pubs With History, Grogan's⁠

Grogan’s has been a cornerstone of Dublin pub culture since it first opened its doors in the 1890s, but it really cemented its reputation in the 1970s when it was taken over by Paddy Kennedy and Tommy Smith - two men who knew what made a great Dublin pub tick. They turned Grogan’s into a meeting place for writers, artists, and eccentrics, encouraging conversation over noise by famously banning TVs and music. ⁠

Tucked beside South William Street, the pub became closely linked with the nearby Project Arts Centre and served as an unofficial clubhouse for some of Ireland’s most notable creatives. With its original wood-panelled interior, stained glass windows, and iconic ham and cheese toasties, Grogan’s has managed to hold onto its old-school charm while becoming a bit of a rite of passage for anyone looking to experience a real Dublin pint.⁠
