Another 365 days of Gods grace and faithfulness!!
I honestly don’t know if words can fully express how I feel today. As I look back, I see a young girl who simply wanted to give her all to God and live a life that pleased Him.
I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, but by His grace, God chose me, drew me closer to Himself, and has continued to transform my life. I have made many mistakes along the way, but through every season, His unfailing love has covered me. ❤️ Today, I look at myself and see a woman who, by God’s grace, has grown into someone stronger, confident, resilient, beautiful and exceptional. And yes, I have learned to appreciate, accept and genuinely love the woman I am becoming.

Most importantly, I have grown to love God more and to look to Him, regardless of the voices of naysayers. His love has carried me, made me shine and allowed me to flourish beyond anything I could have imagined.
There was a time when I would have prayed for so many material things. But today, my greatest prayer is simply:

“Lord, draw me closer to You. Help me know You more and desire more of You every single day.” 😭❤️
Lucinda means bringer of light/light💡
And today, I declare over myself:
I am blessed among women.
I am a fertile and fruitful ground.
I am El-Roi’s favourite child.
I will arise and shine, for my light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me.
I will not die young.
I will not build for another to inherit or sow for another to reap.
Nations and people will be drawn to the light God has placed within me.
The Lord will deliver me from those who are too strong for me.
I am highly favoured by the Almighty.
My light will continue to break forth.
God is not done with me!

I may not know everything the future holds, but I know the One who holds my future. And that is enough for me. 🙏🏾
Today, I celebrate me ! the woman God has brought me this far to become, the woman I am today, and the woman I am still becoming.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful self! 🎂🎁❤️ May this new chapter bring me deeper in God, greater purpose, abundant grace, and a light that continues to shine for His glory
