Important Announcement:

When we began the magazine in 2012, we were in our Junior Sophister year at Trinity College Dublin. Since then we have put out eight issues and published dozens of reviews and interviews on our website. We couldn’t be prouder of the efforts of our contributors and editorial team over the past four years. Since our inaugural issue we have graduated from university and begun our various careers and just as we have evolved so too must the magazine. From Autumn 2016 on we will no longer be publishing fiction and illustrations. The Looking Glass will focus on reviews and interviews, to be published on our website at www.tlgmagazine.org.

While it is with some wistfulness that we say goodbye to the fiction and illustration sections of The Looking Glass, we look forward to its continuing existence as a place where children’s fiction is discussed and championed. We hope that our contributors and readers will continue to support The Looking Glass in its new format.
