MY FIRST FLIGHT EXPERIENCE

I watched a video where a certain man reacted in a funny way, on the first time he travelled by air. I saw the video and laughed really hard ๐Ÿ˜‚.

This made me dig up ๐Ÿคช these pictures I took on my first flight โœˆ๏ธ in Nigeria. To be honest with you, it wasn't funny on my side too, bcos, I have pฤฅ0ษ“1a for height and closed spaces (acrophobia and claustrophobia ).

A day to the faithful day, I was meant to work night shift in my place of work. So as a midwife, I had labour case that night, I monitored her till 6am, but baby was not forth coming. Our senior doctor had to explain to the couple on next alternative delivery route, and they agreed immediately. We started arranging the theatre and the lady in question too, for emergency Ceaserean Section.

Soon, we were done, and we quickly wheeled her in for the surgery. Few minutes later, baby came out and I received the child and did my own job. Recovery room was equally set up to receive the lady after surgery. Thereafter, it was done on me that I have a flight to catch up by 10 am that particular day ๐Ÿ˜†, and I was suppose to be at the airport at least 9am b4 boarding time.

I did my checklist quickly, wrote my report, searched for one of my colleagues to standin for me, then, it was around to 8am in the morning. I handed her over and left as quickly as possible. Had my shower, dressed up, and went straight to the airport. On reaching there, my flight has already started boarding, I quickly checked in, and headed straight to the boarding area.

On getting there, all my body spray and perfume was discarded, bcos, it was meant to be in check-in luggage, but bcos I had only one small bag for my travel, I did not check it in as a luggage, So, It was counted as a hand carrier. They pointed at the plane we will be using for the journey, and I hurriedly followed up.

The fear of missing my flight and appointment made me had a p@รฑ1รง @ศ›ศ›@รงฤท in the flight ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜น ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ. Coupled with the stress of being awake all through the night worsen it all. That was what caused everything.

I was more relaxed on my return flight, yeah it was stress free, bcos, I took some days off work b4 I returned home ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚.
