Technology group, and was previously known as Ion Solutions, Ireland’s leading supplier of services to the audio-visual industry. Ion Solutions combined the strengths of its two previous divisions- Avtek and Eurotek - and the company’s ethos of hard work, loyalty and strong client relationships continues to flow throughout the organisation, with the same core team, led by John Roche. CT Ireland continues to work across four pillars of the business - AV in live events, Creative Services, AV and Broadcast installation, and Managed Services for clients. Our Creative Team has expanded our creative reach in bespoke content for experiential venues, advertising, video production and content creation. Our partnership with our colleagues across the global CT network has given us access to a worldwide pool of talent and technology, and the combined strengths of global reach, local knowledge provides our clients with unrivalled access to this talent pool, whilst retaining the personal touch of a dedicated local, experienced, and enthusiastic team. We are very proud of our long, established relationships with clients and our ability to remain personable and approachable, even as we grow. Each year, the Ireland’s Best Workplaces awards bring together industry leaders to celebrate organisations that prioritise trust, innovation, and employee wellbeing within their teams.

Handling the technical and creative production, we delivered a full coverage Audio system and a main stage LED backdrop, which was supported by two custom designed & fabricated LED cubes.

Our creative team produced all on-screen content, and our on-site videographers captured key moments throughout the night for a post-event highlights reel.

Partnering with Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council, we transformed the historic Town Hall into a stunning canvas for a Christmas-themed projection mapping show at the 2024 Armagh Georgian Festival.

Our Creative Services and Live Events teams joined forces to deliver a fully immersive experience. From developing the storyline and designing vibrant visuals, to deploying state-of-the-art projection and lighting systems, every detail was designed to engage a diverse audience.

For the 2024 An Post Irish Book Awards, our team delivered a breathtaking projection mapping display on the iconic Convention Centre in Dublin.

Using advanced Panasonic projection systems, we turned the surface of the CCD into a dynamic, vibrant canvas, creating a visual experience that elevated the awards to an entirely new level.

Our Creative Services and Live Events teams came together to produce “The Story of Samhain,” an immersive projection mapping show for Púca Festival 2024!

With Fáilte Ireland’s trust, our Creative Services team handled everything from concept and planning to green-screen filming and VFX, capturing Samhain’s rich history. Our in-house audio team partnered with Ancient Music Ireland to craft an authentic soundtrack, further enhancing the experience.

Our Live Events team brought the visuals to life on Trim Castle’s walls, using advanced projection technology from Panasonic and Christie Digital Systems, alongside media servers, and immersive audio systems to deliver a truly unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Ion Solutions Rebrands as CT Ireland

Ion Solutions, a leading provider of professional audio visual and broadcast technology systems in Ireland, has rebranded and will now be known as Creative Technology (CT) Ireland, part of the CT Europe & Middle East Group. CT operates 19 offices on three continents and is part of NEP Group, which has 4,000+ employees in 24 countries.

The rebranding follows the acquisition of Ion Solutions last year by Creative Technology Group, a Live Events Company of NEP and worldwide specialist in audio visual equipment and bespoke staging solutions.

Ion Solutions, now CT Ireland, is led by an extremely experienced local management team and employs 70+ full-time staff in two office locations in Sandyford, Dublin. The business specialises in the creative and technical delivery of indoor and outdoor live events, conferences and exhibitions, as well as the design, supply, installation and integration of audio-visual communications equipment, broadcast television systems, digital video production / computer graphics systems and digital signage solutions. Clients span a variety of sectors including broadcast, retail, healthcare, hospitality and educational facilities, as well as corporate venues.

Ion Solutions had worked with CT for many years on a number of projects in a host of geographical markets long before the company was acquired by NEP. Both company’s services complement the other’s and, together under one brand, they will become a 360-degree supplier to the Live Events market in Ireland, the UK, Europe and worldwide.
