We were saddened and shocked to hear of the sudden passing of first assistant director Jim Corr earlier this week. We worked with Jim for the first time earlier this year on Hokum and we immediately thought to ourselves ‘where have you been all these years?’ He was such a joy to work with; a calm, friendly, assuring presence at all times, and incredibly organised and efficient, often while juggling multiple demands. His demeanour never belied any stress he may have been feeling, though no doubt at many times he was. Absolutely everyone enjoyed working with him and it’s rare you can say that. He was generous, decent and highly respected by all in the film industry, and beyond. When we wrapped on Hokum, we made a joke that he was going to be an essential element of all Tailored productions going forward and we genuinely wish that could have been the case. A lovely, lovely man, gone far too soon. May he rest in peace, and the memories he left with all live on. ❤️
