Dear Family & Friends,

It is with the deepest regret that UAI announce the passing our beloved former Chairman, Charles Mutawe.

Charles passed away earlier today in Uganda with the burial due to take place on Monday or Tuesday.

Charles was one of the founding members of the Uganda Association of Ireland, and played an integral role in helping to build and grow UAI from strength to strength.

He will be remembered as a Father, husband, brother, cousin, friend and colleague to many a people.

Our heart warm condolences go out to Jenny and Charles's 3 sons.

Jenny and the kids are looking to travel to bury Charles in Uganda.
