It is with much sadness that we inform you of a most devastating blow to our agency and the industry at large. On the morning of the 6th of August, our beloved member Mark Tankersley passed away. He leaves behind a gigantic legacy, and a massive hole in our hearts. For any of you who personally knew Mark, you knew of his kindness, his generosity of spirit and his mischievous wit.
Mark was the rarest soul; a wise counsellor, a fierce defender of his friends and peers, and a consummate gentleman. One of the longest standing members of Frontline, Mark was a dear friend and colleague to us all, and we are proud to be able to speak these words wholeheartedly and without exaggeration.
He was someone all of us could look up to, not just as an actor, but as a shining example of all a person could be and more. We only hope that these simple words can even begin to do justice to what was, one of the finest men and actors we had the privilege to know. Sleep well, dear friend, and know you will never be replaced in our hearts. We will each walk from this place lightened with our memories of you and carry you with us for what remains of our days and beyond.
We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.
He will be greatly missed.
