If we’re being honest, August is a tricky month to manage.
After the build-up to summer break and the whirlwind of July, packed with travel, family visits, and activity schedules, it’s easy to feel stretched thin. Whether you’re hopping on a plane or doing daily drop-offs at camp, you’re probably hearing “make the most of it” on repeat. But that phrase can come with pressure.

Even within the teaching community, the vibe is mixed. Some are already deep into back-to-school prep, others can’t bear to think about it yet. Some crave the return of routine, others feel the weight of it settling in.

So here is your reminder: You get to reclaim August for you.
It can be both restful and productive all in one. There’s space for slowing down and getting ready. Maybe look at it as a gentle transition, time to rest and slowly ease back into school days 📅
