Delighted for South African / Irish Paragon artist whose wonderful version of the Rodriguez track ‘𝘐 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘖𝘧 𝘠𝘰𝘶’ will be included in this compilation album coming 27th March.

FOR RODRIGUEZ, via Next Music is a landmark 21-track tribute album celebrating the life, music and enduring global legacy of Sixto Rodriguez. Supported by the Rodriguez Family and featuring his daughter , the album brings together a remarkable collective of South African artists, alongside musicians who shared the stage with Rodriguez during his touring years.

This week’s Play Irish TOTW is The Butterfly House by Séamus Harty🦋

Séamus is an emerging singer songwriter from Tralee. He started writing songs at the age of 14 with musical inspirations ranging from Ray Charles to Stevie Wonder, James Brown and the Rat Pack. Following the release of his new single “The Butterfly House” Séamus will be performing his first headline shows in Whelan’s on August 6th and Mike the Pies on August 7th.
