Toro Y Moi is an American songwriter, producer and graphic designer, and is recognised worldwide as one of the early leaders of the chillwave movement. Fresh from the release of his latest single ‘Mia Khalifa’, and ahead of the release of his long-awaited debut project Sellótape this Friday, Dublin rapper has announced his debut headline show in the Green Room in Dublin’s on 10th December 🎫

Named RTE 2FM Rising Artist and Irish Times ‘Top 50 People To Watch’ after a breakthrough year, which saw him release a steady pace of singles, Selló is gearing up to release his highly anticipated debut project sometime this year.

Following rescheduled shows in September 2020 and April 2021, Northern Irish electronic duo are delighted to announce that they are set to play their biggest Irish headline show to date in Dublin’s on St. Patrick’s Day; 17th March 2023.

“We’ve been working hard to try and find replacement dates for the Dublin shows which were originally planned for September 2020 & rescheduled to April 2021” the band said of the announcement, “It's sad that there are so few music venues left in Dublin! Hopefully this changes in the future! We are hugely grateful for everyone’s patience who have held onto their tickets from the original dates. For those that did, keep an eye out for an email from District 8”.

“My process doesn’t do order, my paintings don’t start with a destination” Dublin-based artist writes in the book examining his latest exhibition entitled ‘Bastard Blue’, “Instead they’re born in the chaos of the doing, painted on the ground, they evolve, they mutate, depending on the light that day, the music I’m listening to, as I move in constant motion around them. And that wasn’t blue”.

In discussion with Soul Doubt, he breaks down his journey with the colour blue, breaking preconceptions and redefining the depth of hue
