Delighted to share the RTÉ Sport feature from this week’s news, filmed at the Hiscox Padel Irish Open!

We arranged for the RTÉ team to visit the tournament back in November, and it’s fantastic to see the piece now airing nationally and giving well‑deserved visibility to the event and players. A great moment for our client Hiscox Ireland, who continue to support sporting events such as the Hiscox Padel Irish Open and the KPMG Women's Irish Open.

A huge shoutout to everyone involved in bringing the piece together. 👏

On episode 350 of the podcast Greg chatted with his son Brendan Canty as we come to the end of what was an amazing year for him.

The first movie that he co-wrote and directed, ‘Christy' hit movie screens around the world winning awards and great acclaim and his first full feature film documentary ‘Gaeltra’ has just premiered at the Cork International Film Festival and scooped the Best New Irish Feature Award.

The future is looking very bright and from the outside looking in, it may look as though he enjoys instant success at every turn, but as we all know nothing happens like that.

On the podcast Brendan chats about these successes, but more importantly he takes us through all the other stepping stone projects that came before these where he learned his craft, from the first school projects, music videos and commercial work.

In any career you can’t cheat the learning curve, but you need to seize the opportunities along the way when you can gain all of that valuable learning.

He also chats about the perils about working in such an unpredictable industry and how to keep yourself sane in the process!
