Boulder Media Boulder Media is a Dublin based Animation studio. Established in August 2000.

Boulder has been working with leading broadcasters such as Cartoon Network US (Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends), Nickelodeon (El Tigre) the BBC (Funky Fables), Cartoon Network UK(The Amazing World of Gumball), and most recently a commission from Disney Europe to produce their first original feature Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja. Throughout all of these larger productions we have still fo

und time to produce almost a dozen pilots for Disney, Film Roman and the BBC. As well as nurturing our own talented crew by investing in many in-house short films, which have gone on to be screened at film festivals around the world.

Back from a very hot (and very good) Annecy ☀️

Busy days of back-to-back meetings with studios, streamers and partners from every corner of the industry, and the response to what we're doing at Boulder, from our service work to our own original slate, was brilliant.

But honestly, nothing beats this festival in person. Lakeside chats (and swims 🏊), chance encounters, paper planes flying at the screenings and a proud moment seeing Living the Dream on the big screen.

Animation is a people business. Annecy is the yearly reminder of why we all do this.

Here are some highlights from Boulder's college visits with animation students this year. It's always fantastic to connect with students; we're consistently amazed by their creativity and talent!

slide 1: the Boulder team reviewed portfolios at BCFE's Industry Day and also attended BCFE's Degree Graduate Showcase.

slides 2 - 3: At Coláiste Dhúlaigh's BA (Hons) end-of-year screening, Boulder Media sponsored the Pebble Award - for Best Student Graduate film - which was presented to this year's recipient Rachael Ogunbowale, for her short film 'Bite Back'. Congrats Rachael!

Di**le, you never disappoint. We came, we saw, and we absolutely did not want to leave. Another year, another festival that reminds us why we do what we do - the craic was unreal, the talent was next level 🌟



A special highlight was welcoming Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley to our stand at Saturday's Fair.



Huge congratulations to our own Piotr Chodup who took home the Best Animation award for his short film Assimilation - we couldn't be prouder.

And a massive shoutout to Aidan McAteer, whose short film The Cloud Herder was nominated for Best Irish Professional Award.
