The standout film for me at has definitely been DISPLACE: THE BATTLE FOR DUBLIN, directed by James Redmond.
It’s essential viewing for anyone living in Ireland. It lays everything bare — the scale of the property/housing crisis and the people carrying the weight of it every day.
There are a few sparks of hope too, with communities organising and finding ways to support each other.
We all know how bad things are, but this really shows why it needs to be at the top of the agenda if we want a fairer Ireland.
