Our brave Spectrum.Life colleagues Dr Emelina Ellis, Lynda McGuill, and Stephen Costello abseiled 150 feet from the rooftop of Croke Park on the 12th of June! 🌈

They took on this challenge in support of our charity partner ISPCC, which works tirelessly to improve the lives of children, young people, and their families across Ireland.

We are so proud of their courage and commitment. Their efforts have raised vital funds and awareness for the essential work the ISPCC does every day.

We are excited to announce our new Charity Partnership with the ISPCC (Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

At Spectrum.Life, we believe in the power of community and the importance of protecting and empowering young people. That’s why we are honoured to support the incredible work of the ISPCC as our chosen charity partner for the year.

As part of our collaboration, our Chief Clinical Officer, Dr Emelina Ellis, has been appointed Chair of ISPCC’s Clinical Advisory Board, bringing her expertise and passion for youth mental health to help advance critical services like Childline Listening Service (CLS) and Childline Therapeutic Support Service (CTSS).

Together, we will focus on:
- Fundraising events and volunteer initiatives
- Mental health support for ISPCC staff and volunteers
- Enhancing ISPCC’s clinical services for children and families

We are thrilled to share our Jennifer Watson MSc has been shortlisted for the COVER Magazine Women in Protection and Health Awards 2025 in the category ‘Educator of the Year’.

What sets Jenni apart is her distinctive blend of skills and experience: She possesses a strong background in data analysis alongside firsthand insights gained from her background in ‘Clinical Mental Health Science’, encompassing various therapeutic methodologies. Over the past years, Jenni has demonstrated remarkable dedication to reshaping how employers and intermediaries leverage the Modern Mental Health (modern EAP) Platform. She has spearheaded a shift towards a data-centric approach, utilizing management information to distill emerging trends and shape informed wellbeing strategies.

Jenni has innovated a new form of engaging directly with employers; she holds in-depth bespoke ‘MI Review’ sessions with employers, where she analyses the EAP and Platform data, identifies trends, and presents her insights to employers. These sessions go beyond a factual update on EAP information:

Jenni explains which data points are important, why they are relevant, how they compare to benchmarks and what she would recommend organisations do, to enhance their wellbeing strategy agenda. There is a focus on her recommendations, which are fully tailored to each organisation’s data profile.
