She will explain how Maths and Me supports the three main types of assessment (Intuitive Assessment, Planned Interactions and Assessment Events) while also providing teachers with practical guidance on how to use the Maths and Me Progress Assessment Booklet, including how to collect, input and analyse the assessment data to gain insights, in order to track and enable the children's progress.

In a concept cartoon the children are presented with a visual stimulus to which they are asked to respond.
Please note that the point of this routine is, not for the children to work out an answer, but rather for them to share their mathematical ideas and thinking with each other and the class.
And in doing so, to provide the teacher with rich and informative assessment data. In this way, it can be regarded as an example of a of a planned interaction, one of the three forms of assessment, alongside intuitive assessment and assessment events.
