Nigerian content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, has opened up about her difficult childhood, revealing that she was raised by a mother living with bipolar disorder and grew up without knowing her biological father.

Jarvis made the emotional revelation while speaking during a Sunday service in the United Kingdom alongside her husband, Peller, and Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

According to the TikTok star, her childhood was far from easy. She explained that living with her mother was challenging because her mother’s behaviour could change drastically due to her condition.

Jarvis recalled experiencing moments when her mother was loving and caring, but at other times became aggressive, violent, verbally abusive and destructive. She said the instability at home made her childhood stressful and depressing.

The content creator also revealed that she never knew her father.

According to Jarvis, her mother had travelled outside Nigeria, became pregnant and later returned to the country, where she gave birth to her. As a result, she grew up without knowing who her biological father was.

She explained that not having a father was particularly difficult because she was already dealing with challenges at home and financial hardship.

Despite the difficulties, Jarvis said her grandparents played a major role in her upbringing. She described them as educated and strict people who provided discipline and helped guide her and her sister while they were growing up.

The TikTok star also spoke about the family’s financial struggles, revealing that there were periods when they could barely afford basic necessities, including school fees and food.

Jarvis recalled times when she and her sister were so hungry that they would watch cooking videos on TikTok. She said they would eventually cry and pray for their circumstances to change.

Her difficult upbringing eventually became part of the motivation behind her determination to change her life.

Jarvis later discovered TikTok livestreaming and began exploring it as a way to make money. She recalled going live with her sister and being surprised when their first livestream attracted around 200 viewers and earned them $5.

Although the amount may appear small, Jarvis said the money meant a lot to them at the time because of the financial difficulties they were experiencing.

That small beginning eventually developed into a successful social media career.

Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, a close associate of music star Davido, died at the age of 43 after undergoing a cosmetic p***s-enlargement procedure during a trip to Thailand.

Details presented at a London coroner’s inquest reportedly revealed that Ubiribo had 40ml of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his p***s at an unnamed clinic in Bangkok.

Shortly after the procedure, Ubiribo reportedly complained of chest pain and collapsed. He was taken to a hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism. Medical staff attempted to resuscitate him for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6.

A post-mortem examination in the UK reportedly found cellular material in his lungs consistent with the filler used during the procedure. The coroner concluded that the cosmetic treatment had caused the fatal pulmonary embolism.

Ubiribo, popularly known as “Tiny,” was a prominent figure in Davido’s inner circle and had around 185,000 Instagram followers. He was married to fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen.

Elon Musk has revealed that future owners of Tesla’s new fully autonomous Cybercab will be able to make money from their vehicles while they sleep.

The tech billionaire described the company’s upcoming ride-sharing network as an “Airbnb on wheels,” allowing owners to easily add their cars to a robotaxi fleet. When not in personal use, the cars can pick up and drop off passengers independently, generating a steady stream of passive income for the owners.

Musk stated that the two-seater Cybercab, which is designed without a steering wheel or pedals, will be sold to the public for under $30,000 (about ₦48 million). He noted that since the vehicles can operate 24 hours a day without a human driver, they offer a unique opportunity for everyday people to run their own commercial transport business effortlessly.

The Cybercab relies entirely on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving software and camera vision rather than the expensive radar equipment used by other self-driving car companies. Production of the futuristic vehicles is expected to scale up soon, with Musk promising they will be available to buyers before 2027.

If the vision becomes reality, it could completely disrupt the traditional ride-hailing industry by making commercial transport much cheaper. However, government regulators still have to approve the widespread use of passenger cars without steering wheels before they can officially hit the roads.
