Fotos dos dois shows que a St. Vincent fez no Olympia Theatre em Dublin.

O show é divididos em dois atos. No primeiro, ela toca as musicas antigas. São 2 músicas do Marry Me e do Actor, 3 do Strange Mercy e do Self-titled. No segundo ato o palco e o outfit mudam, e a Annie toca o album novo de cabo a rabo.

Não há banda, apenas Annie e sua guitarra.

Ontem bem rica no evento de lançamento do perfume da Tiffany & Co.
Cantou All You Need Is Love, Marry Me, The Bed, The Party, Prince Johnny e New York acompanhada de Thomas Barlett no piano e ficou sem saber o que fazer com as mãos sem guitarra.

Sobre a capa do Masseduction e a estética do álbum, no artigo pra New Yorker (Willo Perron é o diretor criativo do álbum):

Perron explained to me, “It all started, well— There hasn’t been a female lead who’s been able to be both absurdist and sexual. Sultriness but in a New Wave character. The energy of ‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse,’ ‘Beetlejuice,’ the Cramps, the B-52s, with some chips of Blondie. Think of Poison Ivy, from the Cramps: absurd but hot.”

“Manically happy to the point of being scary,” Clark said.

“We built these Day-Glo canvases and had people sticking limbs and heads through the canvases. Then we found that the most entertaining thing was the back of the canvas: Carlotta ostriched into the wall, just her ass.”

“Can we do it?” Clark said.
“It says everything that we want to say,” Perron said.
