Comment “SEDONA” and we’ll send our full Sedona hiking guide!
We’re .and.steph and we used to live 2 hours from Sedona. We also got married there! We’ve spent so much time in this beautiful city and want to share our favorite hikes with you! 🌵
1. Soldier Pass Cave:
🥾 3.5 mile out and back
⭐️ Moderate
🚘 Use the FREE Sedona shuttle from the shuttle parking lot, or walk from the parking lot (this adds an extra mile).
We love this hike because you get to see many landmarks like Devils Kitchen and the Seven Sacred Pools before reaching the cave!
2. Merry Go Round Rock:
🥾 8+ miles out + back
⭐️ Moderate/difficult
🚘 Park in the Munds Wagon lot. You’ll need to pay $5 OR have your red rock parking pass!
We love this hike because it takes you through a variety of different desert terrain and the view at the end is unique!
3. Cathedral Rock:
🥾 1.2 miles out + back
⭐️ Hard
🚘 Park in the Cathedral Rock lot and pay $5 at the kiosk or have your red rock parking pass on you!
We love this hike because it’s a scramble up about 750 feet in less than a mile! Also, you get the most amazing view of Sedona. ‼️ This hike is popular so get there early!
4. Sugarloaf Loop:
🥾 1.8 mile loop - there are many ways to make this one longer!
⭐️ Moderate
🚘 Parking in the Sugarloaf lot is FREE!
We love this hike because it’s more of a chill walk. The only reason we rate it moderate is because of the uneven terrain! This is more of a local hike with unique views of Sedona!
1. Subway Cave:
🥾 5.5 miles out + back
⭐️ Moderate
🚘 Park in the Boynton Canyon lot! Pay $5 at the kiosk or have your red rock pass on you!
We love this hike for the view at the end! It can be challenging to climb into the cave, but if you turn left as you approach the ascent, there are hidden stairs that will take you up!
