The GAP Arts Festival is a voluntary, non-profit, artist- and community-led event held each August in Ballythomas. With no traditional venues, it transforms indoor and outdoor spaces to bring the arts to places they rarely reach.
The festival supports local talent through workshops, commissions, and collaborations—including short films, a bilingual podcast, a short story collection, and original work in music, theatre, and visual art. Community involvement is key, giving locals real ownership of the creative process.
Keogh, a seasoned actor and writer, brings decades of theatre experience to the role, making the GAP a unique and inspiring celebration of rural creativity. Tune in at 12pm!
