The past 24 hours have been interesting, and id like you to ponder on this one and give me your honest feedback

Yesterday you suddenly realised, like hundreds of thousands of others, how reliant you have already become on OpenAI’s ChatGTP to carry out your tasks, help with admin and in general assist with so much strategically on a daily basis.

On mass, people experienced a similar sense of panic felt when you realise you’ve forgotten where you left your phone suddenly !

Cloudflare stopped ChatGPT from functioning properly yesterday and it had downtime, it caused enough of a worry and impact that it was mentioned on the National News last night.

Today it is still lagging ive found, as im sure it has for you too.

What the lesson ?
Firstly, its a great tool and definielty should be leveraged to excellerate your growth and give you back time whenever it can.

Secondly, it asssits, but it shouldn’t replace.
Yesterday showed how vitally imprtant it is to have your information saved elsewhere, to have systems in place to use daily if tools like this fail, so it doesnt affect your productivity or even worse, lose you money !

If like many businesses you have already replaced talent with tools in your organisation, you are vulnerable.

Make sure you have systems in place to operate without these tools if needed and most importantly, talent that can use these tools to help your business, not RELY on them.

Knowing the skills needed to carry out a role or task versus being told what to do by AI are two very different things.

Every week I see companies burning hours posting, tweaking, or reacting - chasing trends, rewriting captions, jumping between ideas - all in the name of “staying active.”

I’ve seen brands celebrate 30,000 impressions like it’s a trophy, yet not one new enquiry comes in.

30,000 views of the wrong people are just noise and do zero to help your business grow or convert to sales.

A reach of 300 of the right people in your market, ready to buy, that’s momentum.
