Road closures on Sunday for the Frank Kilrane Road race by Edenderry A.C Seniors

****IMPORTANT MESSAGE ***********

ROAD CLOSURE and TRAFFIC DISTURBANCE

This Sunday 13th July Edenderry AC are hosting their annual Frank Kilrane 10mile Road Race.

This will see road closure for R441 Edenderry to Ballybryan, Ballycolgan, Killane, part of St Mary’s Road from Traffic Lights at killane to Sweeneys from 9:30am to 11:30am approximately.

Local access BUT you are adviced of delays and will be asked to hold for a length of time till it’s safe for runners.

9:10 to 9:35 Francis Street to Business Park will be severe delay as runners gather and race starts off, for safety Road will be closed and traffic will be diverted.

Marshalls will be on every junction and corner possible and please obey and BE nice, without the help of these fab volunteers we would not be able to host this amazing run.

We thank you the public for your cooperation for the 2 hours. It’s really appreciated.

Edenderry PRIDE as part of Offaly Pride is having its very first Pop Up PRIDE event on the 19th of July. They are looking for acoustic singers to fill the square with music 🎶

We are looking for a couple of acoustic musicians for between 12 and 2pm on Sat July 19th to volunteer their time to create some atmosphere and join in the fun. Send a pm if you are available and interest in helping out! Let’s bring some PRIDE 🏳️‍🌈 🌈 🏳️‍🌈 to Edenderry.
