Congratulations to on their nomination in the Beochan/Animation category for their series ‘Fia’s Fairies’, Bankos Tales who have been nominated in the Spórt category for their documentary ‘Anton O’Toole: Finscéal de Shaol GAA’, and Black Gate Productions in Siamsaíocht/Entertainment for their series ‘Cumasc: Seisiúin sa Black Gate’ in this year’s Gradaim RTS Awards. An Cailín Ciúin makes history as the first Irish-language film to be shortlisted for an Academy Award.

We at TMI are very proud of the role we played in bringing this incredible film to audiences and juries around the world. By choosing subtitles rather than dubbing the film, our beautiful and ancient language can be heard by global audiences.

Bronnadh an gradam ar TMI de bharr na hoibre atá déanta acu i gcomhpháirtíocht le hAonad an Aistriúcháin in Ollscoil na Gaillimhe agus Gréasán na Meán Skillnet chun cúrsa iarchéime in aistriúchán don scáileán a fhorbairt. Ba mhaith linn ár mbuíochas a ghabháil le Denise Rocks, Regional Skills West, Séamus Ó Coileáin, Ceann Aonaid, Léann an Aistriúcháin, Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, agus Maria Griffin, Gréasán na Meán Skillnet a thacaigh go fonnmhar linn ón gcéad lá agus a chuir go mór leis an togra lena saineolas féin. We are delighted to announce that TMI has won the “Outstanding Contribution Award 2022” at the Regional Skills West Awards last Tuesday. TMI were chosen for the award in recognition of the work they have done to develop a postgraduate course in screen translation, in co-partnership with Aonad an Aistriúcháin in University of Galway and Gréasán na Meán Skillnet. We would like to thank Denise Rocks of Regional Skills West, Séamus Ó Coileáin, Ceann Aonaid, Léann an Aistriúcháin, Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, and Maria Griffin of Gréasán na Meán Skillnet for their expertise and their enthusiastic support from the outset. We would also like to extend our congratulations to Jessica Martin of the Sales Professional Network SOLAS and Peter Egan of MSLETB, who won the “Exceptional Leadership Award 2022”.
