Lars Mittank was a 28-year-old German man who vanished without a trace from Varna Airport in Bulgaria in 2014.

On November 27th 1995 a 16 year old Surrey girl vanished after taking a taxi to Box Hill, Surrey.
In the weeks prior, she had discovered her biological mother had taken her own life which absolutely devasted her.
The day she vanished, she ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to her stepmother two days later.
In the search that followed police found 3 letters addressed to her parents, friend and another person.
Close by two empty paracetamol packets were found.
However no body was discovered.

This is possibly one of the strangest missing persons cases out there.

In 1982, Ireland experienced one of it's most horrific unsolved murders.
21 January, 1982, TV set designer Charles 'Charlie' Self, a beloved gay man was stabbed to death in his Monkstown home after travelling back from the city with an unknown male.
All kinds of strange goings on with this case.
Another unknown male was also seemingly in the house as well as an older colleague who slept through the vicious murder.

On June 9th 1996 Melanie Hall was last seen sitting alone in a Bath city nightclub.
Her boyfriend stormed out after they had had an argument.
Their mutual friends left soon after assuming Melanie would follow him out.
She vanished.
Witnesses later claimed seeing her talking to an unknown man.
13 years later her partial skeletal remains were found in a bag off the side of the busy M5 Motorway.
Her case remains unsolved.
