🥳Even Small Milestones Deserve Their Moment. 🥳

Where's the Lady?, our film noir parody short, is now listed on IMDb.

🎞️ This 7-minute Talegate Media & Publishing CLG/Debateable Ape co-production was a remote-first collaboration 🛜. From concept through to release, we gathered collaborators, cast & crew from every Irish province, Ukraine and Czech Republic. 🌍

The remote-hub online service Connected Hubs helped with location scouting, ultimately taking us to GreentechHQ in Wexford for the three-day shoot. 🎬

Accepted into three Irish film festivals and shot on an Android smartphone 🤳, Where's the Lady? is a great example of how remote collaboration can deliver good stories, well told.

🌸 A little moment of magic and mastery to enjoy 🌸

Sending kudos to Talegate collaborator Kasia Buckley on winning a Bronze Medal at the 12th Annual Botanical & Floral Art in Bloom Exhibition for her beautiful Pelargonium.

Kasia’s botanical art is rooted in observation, craft, and a respect for the natural world. This award recognises not just the piece itself, but the quiet discipline and artistry behind it.

From petal to page, Kasia’s Pelargonium artwork carries the same beauty and wonder we love about her illustrations in the book, Tales for Samhain. Co-created with lifelong friend, Gabriela Piatek, Tales for Samhain entwines Celtic mythology and beautiful art, creating a world where plants and berries have magic enough to alter human lives.

Met the folks from HystERia Theatre today at the n-Lite Symposium. Jess Harkin and Emily Aherne are making cool stuff happen in a myriad of creative undertakings.

Led by young creatives, written and produced by 𝐇𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, with direction and editing by 𝐁𝐢𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦𝐬, the series brings together a multidisciplinary team that highlights cultural vibrancy and the immense creative talent right on our doorstep.

Congratulations to all involved for so powerfully capturing Galway’s Westend in all its energy and spirit. 👏

This project is part of the Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic N-LITE project, led by the WDC in collaboration with Galway's Westend and Galway City Council Night-Time Economy. This partnership supports the creation of digital experiences that enhance cultural tourism in the Western Region, reaching new audiences and celebrating our rich literary heritage.
