Ragaire is now seeking poetry, short stories, creative nonfiction and cover art for Issue 6.
We are open until 15th July 2026 or until our maximum number of submissions is reached.
Ragaire is a Galway-based magazine edited by Cormac Culkeen, Aileen McCarthy and Lucy Bleeker that champions emerging West of Ireland writers, as well as other Irish and international writers who offer fresh perspectives and different approaches to telling a story.

Thank you to everyone who shared their work with us, we were honoured to receive it. Only a tiny percentage of the poetry, fiction and non-fiction submitted could be chosen for Issue 5. All selections are now made and please let us know if you have not heard trom us.
And please save the date! Our launch is scheduled for Friday May 22nd, 6.30pm in the PorterShed in Galway.
