Tara Book Company provides a service to primary schools, parents and children throughout Ireland and abroad supplying the best books, through our website, book fairs, library supplies, author visits and class novels. The books we have selected for our website have been carefully chosen to assist teachers and parents, to nurture a love of reading in children. For your convenience we have graded the

ir suitability by age and class, balancing what appeals to children with a high standard of literature. This makes it easier for you to choose picture books, early readers, class novels and library books.

Welcome to Ballyglass NS Natasha

I'm excited to meet the WHOLE school at Ballyglass NS, County Galway tomorrow. I'm going to be talking to Junior Infants-1st class about Reindeer Down, 2nd-3rd class about Star Club and 4th-6th class about Great Irish Sports Stars: Sonia O'Sullivan. Visiting schools is one of my favourite parts of writing for children, it's so great to meet young readers. A big thank you to Tara Book Company for arranging the visit and the Writers in Schools Scheme at Poetry Ireland for facilitating it.
