Ros Muc native Antoine Og Mainin is the WBC New South Wales Super Lightweight Champion after a dominant win over Saharat Taehirun in Sydney overnight.
The Connemara boxer controlled proceedings from the start with the referee stopping the fight in the 4th round. This win keeps Antoine's unbeaten run going and he is now 3-0 as a professional.

This coming Saturday we roll back the clocks 100 years. Loughrea RFC played their first ever game against local rivals Ballinasloe, in what is now the side pitch of Loughrea hurling club. At 14:00 we will recreate this fixture with an exhibition game against the same opposition in the same location.
