Galway audiences are invited to begin the new year with wonder, wit and a quiet act of rebellion as the incomparable little john nee brings his new show 'The Art of Gentle Punk' to The Mick Lally Theatre for three nights only, from 21–23 January 🎭🪕

Part theatre, part concert, part beautifully unclassifiable dream, The Art of Gentle Punk invites audiences to immerse themselves in a world of music, storytelling and subtle madness. It is a show for anyone who has ever felt drawn to linger in the shade of old trees, to pause at an odd corner of a field, or to laugh defiantly in strange, dark times.

Don't forget, OXO is on display at Outset Gallery in The CornStore until January 25th 🖼🙌 An absolutely spectacular exhibition that you don't want to miss!

Outset is open weekly Wednesday to Sunday with updated opening hours for the winter.

Sun: 11.00–4.00

OXO is Ireland’s largest winter exhibition featuring 140 artworks from 120 artist's and runs from Nov 14th – Jan 25th 2026, providing a platform for artists working locally, nationally, and internationally to exhibit in Galway City, the cultural capital of the West.

All works are available to purchase. This is a great opportunity for collectors and art lovers to begin or add to their collection with a unique, one of a kind artwork.
