As we wrap up for 2025, we just want to say a massive thank you to every single person who worked with us throughout the year. From big high-energy events to gentle yet powerful moments behind the lens, we are proud to capture stories in all their forms.

We’ve had the honour of working with incredible clients, passionate storytellers, brilliant businesses and inspiring organisations across a wide range of projects. Every brief trusted to us, every story shared, and every location that welcomed us - none of it is taken for granted.

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to everyone involved in the award-winning 'Toibreacha Beannaithe' exhibition! 👏

GK Media Ltd. is incredibly proud to have supported this project through the production of the bilingual short film - 'Toibreacha agus Bád Cholmcille', (St Colmcille’s Holy Wells), to mark St Colmcille’s Feast Day. 🌟

In the film, captured on location in Cloghmore South in June earlier this year,

Máirtín Davey, local media presenter, interviews Joseph Dillon, local historian, about the site’s significance, traditions, and pilgrimage patterns.

It was a privilege to help bring the stories, traditions, and cultural memory of these unique tidal holy wells to life on screen.

This award is a wonderful recognition of the dedication shown by the local community, historians, heritage experts, and Irish-language advocates who worked together to celebrate and protect this special part of our shared heritage.

The team are feeling incredibly proud and grateful as we officially begin producing Irish Sign Language (ISL) videos for businesses — a project made possible with the support of HSE Ireland and the amazing ISL community.

For us, inclusion and collaboration aren’t just values on a page — they’re what drive us every single day.

Being able to help make Irish media more accessible is not only rewarding, it’s deeply meaningful to our whole team.

The timing couldn’t be better — September is International Deaf Awareness Month, and in just two weeks we’ll also be celebrating Irish Sign Language Awareness Week and the International Week of Deaf People.

This year’s theme, “No Human Rights without Sign Language Rights,” is a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.
