Probably indulged a bit too much while I was home but it was worth it. Knowing I won’t have these again for quite some time makes me feel a bit better lol. Hot Cheetos busted in my bag and definitely ate way too many sweets.🍭 🍫🍩

Safe to say the heat was bringing the drama. Highly recommend eating indoors until the fall. Food was fab though 🍝

1. Mainland Europe in my backyard. A cheap flight and I’m in Portugal for the weekend. Coming from the States, where “abroad” was a whole ordeal, this still doesn’t feel real.

2. The views. The scenery is so ridiculous I make my own postcards out of my camera roll. Every ordinary drive looks like a screensaver.

3. Domestic animals with a whole new meaning. Hens, ponies, sheep, and my kids will think this is just the norm now.

4. Wild blueberries on the side of the road. My favorite time of year. You pull over, you pick, you eat. Nobody owns them. They’re just… there.

5. Weather that changes five times before lunch. Four seasons in an afternoon, and somehow you stop minding and start finding it beautiful.

6. Stone walls older than my whole country. I drive past history on the way to work.
