Incredibly proud to accept a finalist certificate in the Young Audience category for our series finale, ‘Roar to Restore’, and it was an honour to be recognised alongside such outstanding nominees. Congratulations to on their well-deserved win for Sky Kids Investigates: World.War.Me, an important and powerful watch.

Episode 1 focuses on a timely topic... school tours!🚌

Abbie, Kaila and Zoe take listeners through the many different school tours they’ve experienced, sharing memories and chatting with both teachers and classmates. They also feature a special interview with the manager of Lullymore Heritage Park, exploring what it’s like to host school tour groups. To top it off, they’ve created an original ‘School Tour’ game for listeners to enjoy. 🤩

What an incredible term KidCast has had podcasting with St. Brigid’s NS, Ballysax! 🎙️✨

From developing ideas and preparing our pitches, to writing scripts, hosting shows, interviewing guests and performing an original audio drama, the students embraced every part of the podcast-making journey with creativity, enthusiasm and confidence.

They also became Foley artists, creating their own sound effects, and designed fantastic cover artwork for their podcast too! 🎨🎧

Most importantly, they learned how to work together, tell stories, share their ideas and bring their voices to life through audio.

We are so proud of everything they have achieved and can’t wait to share their brand-new podcast, Ballysax Blast, with you very soon! 🚀

So incredibly proud of all the young podcasters behind Episode 10 of KidCast School Tour: Roar to Restore 🎙️✨

This week we found out their episode has been shortlisted for a Sandford St. Martin Trust Award, recognising excellence in broadcasting about religion, ethics and spirituality across the UK and Ireland. Such an amazing achievement!

This brilliant group of just nine home-educated children from Cork (aged 7–11) were given the theme of Religious and Ethical Education, and they absolutely rose to it. From sharing their own thoughts and experiences to writing and performing an original audio drama, they struck a beautiful balance of creativity, honesty and imagination.
