Gaelscoil na Lochanna was the very first Gaelscoil to feature on the ‘KidCast School Tour’ series and also the first school to take a fictional approach to their show.

This super creative 6th class incorporated a rap, a song and a scene from their show ‘Diarmuid agus Grainne’ and entertained us all with gorgeous Gaeilge along the way.

☘️Seachtain na Gaeilge atá ann a chairde!

We love using our cúpla focail here at KidCast and this week we’re celebrating all the fun we’ve had as Gaeilge over the past 3 series!

💖Bhí mo chroí i mo bhéal hosting our first bilingual episode with Annabelle on Series 2 Episode 3: The Irish One! But of course I had nothing to worry about because not only is Annabelle’s Irish fantastic but she’s all round fabulous too!

📋There’s ‘Nuacht’ with Éabha, a ‘Cluiche Ceol’ with Reuban, ‘Fírící’ with Charlotte, a lovely chat with Michelle from Inis Meain, an incredible retelling of the story of St.Patrick by some students from Dramatic Action and we caught up with Muinteoir Ray!

My eldest (11) is enjoying ‘Sisters of the Moon’ by Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick, my middle (8) loves the Isadora Moon book series and my youngest (5) is loving starting to read and reading ‘The Cat and the Rat and the Hat’ on his own🥰
