Clare Camogie is pleased to announce that Eugene Foudy of Inagh-Kilamona will be recommended for ratification as manager of the Clare Senior Camogie Team on a two-year term at the October Clare Camogie Board meeting.
His management team will also be confirmed at this meeting.

Clare Camogie Chairperson Fergal O’Brien added: "We are delighted that someone of Eugene’s experience is available to take up this hugely important position. The challenge for Eugene and his backroom team is to take Clare camogie to the next level. We believe that Eugene has the required credentials to lead this talented group of players forward. We wish him every success, and I am sure our supporters will get fully behind Eugene, his management and the team.”

Congratulations to the under 14s and their trainers on qualifying for the Roinn D Semi-Final with a thrilling 6-01 to 4-04 win against Windgap last night. The saying goals win games never rang truer and it was Tullogher's ability to be just that little bit more clinical in front of the posts which proved the difference in the end. After the home side raced into a 2-01 to 0-00 lead with their first three attacks Windgap gradually grew in self-belief and as the Heavens opened they pulled level before Tullogher raised a third green flag just before the interval to lead by 3-01 to 2-01.

The second half had everything from heroic defending to clinical finishing and with seven minutes to go it looked like the blood and bandages had weathered the storm as they led by 4-04 to 4-01. It was a brace of goals in the final seven minutes which proved crucial and despite some furious late pressure, Windgap were unable to score the major which would've brought the tie to extra time. The semi-final is likely to be played within the next fortnight at a time and date yet to be decided. A huge well done to the panel plus their trainers Joan H, Linda, Margaret, Martin and Tom.
