THEY BURNED THE LION PALACE AND 5-STAR HOTELS… WHAT?!
I still can’t wrap my head around it… Nepalese protesters actually set fire to the Singha Durbar — the Lion Palace, the heart of the government — and even went after 5-star hotels. Like, what’s the logic here? Burn down your own country’s history and destroy the places that keep tourism alive? 🤯
You don’t have to like the politicians, you don’t have to like the rich staying at luxury hotels… but torching national landmarks and symbols of progress? That’s not ‘revolution,’ that’s self-sabotage.
Imagine explaining this to future generations: “We were angry at the government, so we destroyed our own palace and hotels.” Really? That’s the legacy?
It blows my mind how rage turns people blind. Instead of change, you just leave behind ashes and regret. Honestly, this feels less like protest and more like pure chaos.
What do you guys think? Is this ever justifiable, or is it just madness?
