⚫️🟡June is set to be a truly historic month for St. Lachtain’s GAA Club, as our incredible U15 hurling and football teams get ready to represent our parish, club, and Kilkenny on two massive stages.⚫️🟡
On Sat, June 21st, our U15 hurlers will proudly compete in the National Division 1 Féile na nGael Hurling Finals in Wexford. Only one week later on Sat, June 28th, our U15 footballers will take to the field in the Division 2 Féile Peil na nÓg Football Finals.
These young athletes are doing us proud—on two fronts—and their success is a credit to the work they’ve put in over months and years.
Travelling to these finals, covering costs for transport, gear, and meals is a big challenge. We’re hosting a fundraising car wash and fun run on bank holiday Monday June 2nd in Páirc Lachtaín. We’ve also launched a GoFundMe campaign in conjunction with our fundraising activities, and we’re asking you—our amazing supporters, community and GAA family—to stand with these boys as they chase their dreams.
