Serious skills on a set of turntables Sunil is defo one of the best Irish DJs, think Rebūke is prob best new Irish producer at the moment but for pure skill Sunil Sharpe is a master of his craft on the ones and twos (and even 3s & 4s) lol.. had the pleasure of having a few jam sessions on the decks with Sunil and of course Doug Cooney was a pleasure to DJ along side you guys 2025/2026 im planning on coming back on the scene took a few years off for personal reasons but it's time to get back to producing and get myself a set of decks again, home studio is picked out and about 1/3 of the way there gonna get new monitors, 2-3 analog synths and take it from there, will update more later.. 😃

We spoke to Sunil Sharpe ahead of his all-night-long set at Wigwam with Subject this Saturday.

The Earwiggle boss candidly shares his approach to extended sets, referencing performances at Berghain, Tresor, and Bassiani, as well as legendary sets closer to home at District 8 and Tengu. He also offers insight into the thought process behind creating some previously legendary dancefloor moments.

doubt its just psytrance but its pretty obvious to most of us that the rhythmic repetitions and melodies lift us to an elevated 'flow' state, music has been around since the first cave men banged on drums using animal skins and making instruments from what was available to them, if neuroscientists are only now finding out now that music has a positive reaction on the brain, they've been listening to the wrong music lol 🪘🎧🎼😁
