This used to be a lambing shed.

For Patch's birthday, we rounded up the family to help turn it into something new!

At Emotion Media, we spend our days helping tell other people's stories. This project gave us the chance to tell one of our own.

What was once a practical part of the farm is now a space where family and friends can come together, share stories, celebrate milestones, and enjoy the moments that matter most.

The best part wasn't building the bar. It was watching everyone pitch in, bringing their own skills, ideas, and hard work to create something we'll enjoy together for years to come.

A new chapter for an old part of the farm - and a reminder that the best stories aren't always the ones we film, sometimes they're the ones we build together.

And most of the time, it is.
But behind the calm surroundings is a team powered by ideas, sweet cravings, the occasional cold one, and a shared obsession with creating great work.

And when it’s time to dig deeper, the team comes together at the RDI Hub - our corporate HQ for design sprints, solution sessions, and big-picture thinking.
From the farm in Kerry, to projects across Ireland and beyond, this is the team that brings it all to life.

Building the studio wasn't a single moment. It was small decisions, long days, and plenty of muddy boots.

After the container arrived in Mount Rivers, the real work began.

But this build was never just about a workspace.

We cleared farmyards, built and plumbed toilets and created places to gather, think, and recharge - including a greenhouse that will become part meeting room, part lunch space, and part growing project.

Piece by piece, a corner of the farm started to transform.

Not just into a studio, but into a home for our work, our ideas, and whatever comes next.

Here’s a moment when an idea stops being an idea.
For us, it was the day a shipping container arrived at Mount Rivers, the family farm in Kerry.
A steel and glass box in the middle of a field, a lot of mud, a few nervous faces, and a lot of crossed fingers.
This wasn’t just another building project.
It was the moment we committed to creating a completely different kind of creative studio.

No turning back.
Today, that container has become a space where ideas are developed, animations are crafted, and global design challenges are solved.

Everyone thought we were slowing down.
A few years ago, we made a decision that surprised a lot of people. We left the heart of Dublin and moved our creative studio to the family farm in Killorglin, Co. Kerry.
Not to slow down.
To focus.
We believed that creating world-class solutions required space to think, experiment, and see things differently.
Today, our custom-built studio is surrounded by fields, rivers, and lots of sheep - but our work reaches some of the world's biggest brands.
