Did you know we don’t just record music — we support artists through the entire creative journey? 🎶
From photoshoots to websites. From building a personal brand and promo strategy to shooting music videos — we’re there from start to finish.

Today we’re sharing a little glimpse behind the scenes of a recent photoshoot with Shane Burns Irish Artist 📸
All in all, we shot over 1,000 photos. After careful selection and editing, around 200 images made the final cut. What you’re seeing here is just a small handful — Instagram won’t let us show more, unfortunately!

You’ll be able to see much more on Shane’s website and across his socials very soon.
We genuinely hope these photos help reveal more of Shane’s artistic side — the depth, the honesty, and the story behind the music.

I’m always amazed at the diversity of acts who get up and perform at .

As well as the seasoned regulars, there is usually a few new faces and people dropping in from different countries while they visit Galway.

Always such a great night and did a great job of hosting and sound respectively.

Over the past few weeks, a few lovely families have come into The Dreams Loft to record their own Christmas CDs — and honestly, it’s been pure joy to witness.

There’s something incredibly special about capturing those little voices, the gentle harmonies, the giggles between takes… and turning it all into a keepsake you’ll treasure for years.

Just picture it: Christmas morning, everyone gathered around, opening presents… and in the background — your family singing your favourite carols. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It’s simply about being together and having a bit of craic while making something meaningful.

You don’t need to be a professional singer — far from it. You just show up as you are, and we’ll take care of the rest. In three hours, we’ll record your songs, I’ll mix everything for you, and you’ll walk out with your own Christmas CD in your hands.

It makes a gorgeous family moment… and a lovely gift for grandparents, friends, or anyone who’d smile hearing your voices.

😰 4 artists’ fears

Every artist faces the same four stumbling blocks:

•⁠ ⁠Procrastination
•⁠ ⁠Imposter syndrome
•⁠ ⁠Perfectionism
•⁠ Fear-of-disappointing mindset

And at the root of every one of them sits fear — fear of messing up, fear of being judged, fear of feeling embarrassed by the outcome.

Perfectionism is all about the result.
It’s the feeling that everything has to be flawless — not a single mistake allowed.
A perfectionist can spend weeks or even months tweaking, rewriting, polishing… all to make the final outcome “perfect”.

The core fear: “My work isn’t good enough.”

If you’re waiting for the perfect take, you’ll be waiting forever. Just get the first one down — that’s how the magic actually starts.

Don’t polish the life out of your work. People don’t want “perfect” — they want you.
