Raphoe Macra have raised €5,165 for Embrace FARM with their Charity Tractor Pull.

Embrace FARM supports farm families dealing with the aftermath of serious injury or sudden death, offering a compassionate community where people can share, heal, and connect.

As a rural club, Raphoe Macra understands the realities of farm life and recognises how vital community support is when tragedy strikes.

That’s why the club was proud to organise this event in aid of such an incredible organisation.

Raphoe Macra were delighted to present a cheque for €5,165 to Caroline Redmond of Embrace FARM.

The funds were raised during the club’s recent charity tractor pull from Castlefinn to Raphoe, held in July.

Club Chairperson Julie Wilson expressed her gratitude, saying: “We’d like to thank everyone for their generous donations and all the support on the day.”

Special thanks go to Gerry McLaughlin for providing the bus, Josh McCrabbe for traffic control, Friels of Raphoe for the refreshments and entertainment, and to all our volunteers who helped make the day such a success.

Raphoe Macra is a rural youth club for individuals aged 17 to 40, hosting monthly meetings in Raphoe.

In the last few days Donegal has suffered a number of heart breaks.

Grief is not a single emotion, it's a journey with no map.

It's the human heart trying to make sense of a space that was once filled and is now empty.

Types of grief include: Sudden, expected, separation.
