A lot of people seem to get confused about the opening hours at the shop so just clarifying we are OPEN 5 DAYS A WEEK. I've made some notes below that may help clarify

Today is release day for new LP "Old Earth". I've spent the last few days with the album and have enjoyed every minute. Few words below 👇

From the opening track the record screams of high quality recording and production seldom seen on these kind of independent projects. The album is a journey album, moving through different tones, textures, speeds and patterns and realities while still maintaining an overall theme throughout the record.

Whether it takes you back to a moment of solace, deep meditation or simply reminds you of late nights running around the dunes and howling at the moon this record takes you on its journey.

Definitely up there with our favorite Irish electronic releases of the year.

Did you see now have a new app?
Congrats to all the team at Éist bringing that station from strength to strength each week. We are proud to say that 2 of our staff members & both have shows on Éist.

You can catch Ali's show "Silent Listener" the last Tuesday of each month from 8-9PM with uploads available for listen back on the app.

Seáns show titled "Ard do Bhuille" airs every 4 weeks on a Monday with the next show coming up this Monday 7-8PM , again with listen back available on the app.

Both shows are reflective of the pairs DJ sets as well as their favorite home selections and album cuts, with plenty coming from the shop.

Restocks on volume 1 & 2 of Tim Maia's "Racional" recordings from 1974/75. These records were recorded by Maia at a time when he joined a religious group, often referred to as a cult called "Cultura Racional". From what I've read CR is like an early Brazilian scientology cult.

As with most cults they support transferring personal wealth to the organization and similar to scientology they believe that humans are extra terrestrials who have been banished to earth and need to return to their former glory by following the teachings of the church.

Regardless of the murky inspirations for these recordings they feature some top quality musicianship throughout both discs.
