Are you ready to make a splash at this year’s Ballylongford Oyster Festival? Do you remember the annual Raft Race? It's been missing from the festival the last few years.

In the late hours of last night, June 14th, surveillance footage recorded acts of vandalism against Ballylongford Tidy Towns property. Several floral window boxes were tampered with, and one was cast into the river.

The local Gardaí have been notified and are in possession of the CCTV evidence. We urge those responsible to step forward, rectify the damage, and prevent any further Garda intervention.

We acknowledge that the intentions might have been in jest; however, it's important to recognize that Ballylongford Tidy Towns operates on community contributions. We have a responsibility to safeguard assets acquired through donations and grants.

Hi all,
With the elections going on this evening I just want to give a shout out to Michael Foley who has worked incredibly hard for all our local groups and also for so many individuals on personal matters. If you're going out for a walk, or on your way out for a quiet pint, remember to take your polling card with you and pop in to the voting station on your way. A number 1 for Mike (or your next preference) can make all the difference!
