I want to take a moment to say thank you to whoever reported me to Performance Rights Ireland. At first, it felt like a setback — but in truth, it has been the spark that’s pushing me forward.

Because of this, I am now working on establishing a fully functional, commercially licensed radio station right here in County Kerry. This will not just be about music, but about supporting local communities, uplifting local businesses, and giving a voice to the people of Kerry.

What started as a challenge has turned into an opportunity — and I’m excited to build something bigger, better, and stronger for us all. 💪🎙️

At Wild Atlantic Waves Media, we were concerned to read the recent statement from one of Ireland’s search and rescue helicopter bases about a drone being flown near their aircraft.

We want to be very clear — safety always comes first.

While we are licensed by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) to operate drones professionally, we are not licensed or endorsed by any search and rescue organization. This means that whenever a search and rescue helicopter is in the area, our drone operations immediately stop and our aircraft is brought safely to the ground.

Search and rescue crews have absolute priority in the skies, and we respect that fully.

Drones are powerful tools for creativity and innovation, but when used irresponsibly, they can put lives at risk. At Wild Atlantic Waves Media, we are committed to ensuring that our operations are safe, legal, and respectful of the incredible work done by Ireland’s search and rescue teams.

Let’s all play our part in keeping Ireland’s skies safe. 🌊📸

NO DRONE ZONE! On a recent night time tasking our sister ship, Dublin based RESCUE116 was on a tasking when it was identified that a drone was flying close to the Aircraft, PLEASE do not fly a drone near any helicopter or any other aircraft & especially not near Hospital Helipads & Airports, only appropriate SAR agencies can & even then when a SAR Helicopter is inbound they will land the drone.

End of an era. Until now, I have been using a rather battered and bruised Samsung S20FE, which I have had since 2021. The upgraded S21FE has not weathered the storm well, as it fell victim to the leg of a bed, ultimately putting a hole in the screen. Well, now I am upgrading to the flagship S25ultra. Really excited to see what this has to offer over the others.
