BEFORE NIGHTFALL-CASTING CALL
Hey everyone looking to cast for an ambitious long short film with SkinKrawler Films & SWEET PEACE Productions.
“Before Nightfall” tells the story of a bickering Film Crew shooting a Slashe in the middle of nowhere! Little do they know the slasher their production is about to turn into!
Looking fill the following roles: (Any race/ethnicity welcome to apply)
•Ted-Writer/Director: Male (20s)
An introverted director desperate to make his mark but incompetent with the art of Directing. He is a kind and pleasant nerd, but ultimately a pushover until circumstances push him to his limit. He depends on his girlfriend Julia a fair bit.
•Julia-Producer: Female (20s)
An extroverted producer with a professional mindset. She is incredibly close to her boyfriend Ted, and ultimately does a lot of the managing for him, while pushing him to be his best. She is firm but very kind.
•Nigel-Director of photography: Male (20s-mid 30s)
A raging ego maniac, with a huge chip on his shoulder. He is a talented camera operator but is incredibly hard to work with, being disrespectful and condescending. He flawlessly drums up conflict with his crew.
•Tom-Lead Actor: Male (20s-mid 30s)
Also a raging ego maniac. A method actor completely full of himself who can’t divorce his sense of self from his work. Despite that still being collaborative. A completely ridiculous human being but not boring or unpleasant to be around. (Goofy dancing involved)

Location: Maynooth, Kildare
Auditions will be held in Person in Dublin on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th, October.
