One of his earliest and most memorable performances came at the Ormond Hotel, backing Millie Small of "My Boy Lollipop" fame. With less than an hour to rehearse, Healy stepped in for the harmonica solo-on tenor sax-capturing the spontaneity and spirit that would define his career.
Years spent performing in tribute acts and solo gigs across London infused his style with elements of jazz, psychedelic rock, and classic showband energy. These experiences shaped a musical identity that's cinematic in scope yet grounded in folk tradition. His songwriting explores themes of memory, resilience, and quiet joy, often delivered with understated vocals and atmospheric arrangements.
Healy is currently preparing to release his latest solo album, featuring seven original tracks and two covers. The lead single, "Hold That Smile, sets the tone for a collection that blends poetic grit with melodic warmth.
