A prolonged spell of very warm to hot weather is expected from Wednesday, with heatwave conditions developing and continuing into next week.
☀️ Temperatures will widely exceed 25°C, with highs reaching the upper 20s and even 30°C or above in some areas from Friday.
☘️ Affected counties: Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford, and Wicklow
Expect:
🌞 High to very high UV levels
🌙 Warm, humid nights with temperatures staying at 15°C or higher, with possible tropical nights this weekend
⛈️ A risk of thunderstorms later in the week
