It’s absurd that the youth are now shifting the blame on the government and attributing their own hunger for quick wealth to poverty.
How is it the government’s fault that you agreed to be a drug mule, due to social media influence , peer pressure and the need to get quick money without dropping a sweat.
The real poor people do not even have the means to interact with people at that level neither do they think of having passports to travel to Brazil or where ever.
This kind of mentality from the youth can create chaos.
It’s a pity that the people our youth look up to now are those who engage in so many illegal activities, the people whose wealth has no evidence, the flashy cars and mansions all obtained by illegal means. No one respects real hustle anymore. The term hustling now means something different, illegally obtaining wealth.
While there are so many issues going on in the country today, unemployment included, Namibia and I repeat Namibia has not got it worse to an extent that you have to make excuses like this. This is the lowest level of thinking.
Instead of becoming innovative, learning practical skills that can enable you to create something that can bring in value and income. Instead of learning governing skills to be able to make our country better, yet, you children are opting for the riskier route. I really think it’s silly!
